Departure from Leh
Take an excursion to Sham Valley today visiting Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, the Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers, Hall of Fame museum and Spituk monastery. Gurudwara Pathar Sahib stands at the place where Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikh religion and the first Guru, is believed to have vanquished a demon. The gurudwara is maintained today by the Indian Army. Close by is Magnetic Hill - it has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road, the vehicle slides up-hill. Also see the Hall of Fame Museum, built and maintained by the Indian Army. The Confluence at Nimu is where the rivers Indus and Zanskar merge, their two different colours clearly visible from above.
You will be transferred today to the airport for your flight back home.
